今回はMVアグスタがアドベンチャーバイク戦線に参戦するようです。アイテムは2台。930ccと550ccでどちらもカジバ エレファントのパリダカモデルをインスパイヤしています。
5.5と9.5と名付けられたモデルは親会社がカジバのMV AGUSTAのラッキーエクスプローラープロジェクトから生まれており、アフリカラリーの黄金期の現代的な解釈とされています。
どちらも共通性を感じるデザインですが930ccの9.5はMVアグスタ曰く「オリジナルのエレファントのレーシングスピリットを表現」し、よりダートを意識した位置付けだとのこと。コンパクトでオフロードキャラが強いマシンを目指しているようです。
5.5 はもっとロード寄りのセットアップのようです。フロントは19インチ、リヤは17インチ。フロントサスはカヤバでストロークは135mm。ドライウェイトは219.5キロだそうです。ツイン水冷のツインエンジンは47.6HPです。
さて、日本での発売はどうなるのでしょうか?
